Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha, better called Gugu Mbatha-Raw is a popular British stage and film actress which gained more attention when she appeared in"Doctor Who," (a British science-fiction TV show) show that aired on the BBC channel. Gugu was a huge success on the show, as she played Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. Gugu displayed a vibrant, spontaneous personality that was loved by the public. She would have been able to have a successful career actor if she would not stop! She's appeared in a number of British dramas and television shows. The critical acclaim she has received is for her stellar performance in 'Belle' (2013) which is a British period drama and "Beyond the Lights" (2014) the romantic drama. Also, she appeared in American television productions like "Undercover" an Tom Hanks comedic film, and the TV show "Touch". Gugu Mbatha Raw was in the show "Nell Gwynn" created by Jessica Swale as an actress and also as the mistress of King Charles II. Her performance was well-received by critics, who commended her for her talents. Gugu was awarded the Evening Standard Theatre Award as Best actress. Gugu, as a mark of respect for her work in the field of theatre, was named a Member of the Order of the British Empire.
Chelsea Joy Handler was conceived on the 25th of February, 1975, in Livingston New Jersey. She was the youngest child within a household of six. Handler was the daughter of a car salesman and housewife. Her mother immigrated from Germany into America. United States as a young woman in the year 1958. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1989 and died after battling cancer for ten years. Handler's father is Jewish and she was raised up Reform Judaism. Handler was raised in a safe area and enjoyed a pleasant childhood. Handler was 19 when she decided to move in Los Angeles and pursue acting. In order to support herself, Handler began to work as an actress. Handler, who was then 21 was able to concentrate on stand-up comedy as a full-time occupation following her discovery of storytelling. At the beginning of her career Handler started her professional career in the Oxygen network, which was an all-female cast on the hidden camera/comedy reality TV series Girls Behaving Badly. It aired from 2002 until 2005. Handler began appearing on other TV shows, such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was hired on The Tonight Show as a correspondent. Handler was given her first major break when she hosted her E! Show in 2006. Named The Chelsea Handler show. The show ran for a total of two seasons. Handler performed at the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour on American soil following the season. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend & HBO have aired Handler's stand-up performances. In 2010 it was confirmed that she would host the MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. MTV Video Music Awards. This made her the first woman to host the VMA's, following Roseanne Barr.
