Cristela Alonzo
Cristela Alonzo, born in 1977/1978 is an American actor, comedian as well as writer and producer who was the creator and star of the ABC sitcom Cristela. The first Latina American woman to create, perform as well as write and direct her own comedy series.
Childhood and early life
Alonzo was born in San Juan, Texas. He is the youngest of four children. His mother Natalia Gonzalez worked double shifts at an Mexican restaurant for more than 20 years[5] and also his father Adalberto Alonzo were both Mexican. Alonzo was the child of a father and mother who had a history of abuse. Alonzo's mother left her husband, and left her children on their own. Alonzo stated that she'd never seen her father, and that he passed away in 2009.
