Iliza Shlesinger

  Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born on 22nd February 1983. She is an American comedian and actress. She was a finalist on the NBC competition Last Comic Standing 2008 and hosts the dating show syndicated by TBS Excused and the TBS show Separation Anxiety.





 Shlesinger hosted Truth & Iliza (Freeform) in 2017 as her own late-night talk show. [5] As of 2022, she's released six comedy specials for Netflix. Her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show debuted on Netflix in April of 2020.



 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born to an Jewish family from New York City. [6] She was raised in Dallas, Texas, where her family relocated to when she was a baby. She attended Addison's private Greenhill School, Texas where she learned Spanish and participated in the school's improvisation team.





 Shlesinger has performed on ComedySportz Dallas, and studied at the University of Kansas for her freshman year. She participated in Semester at Sea. She then transferred to Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts where she studied in film, refined her editing and writing skills and joined one of the campus's comedy sketch groups Jimmy's Traveling All Stars.

 Shlesinger who was a graduate of college, relocated to Los Angeles in order to pursue stand-up comedy. She was among the most popular members of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
