Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson, born 7 July 1968 is an American actress. She is well-known for her performances in CBS as Linda Reagan and NBC as Alex Taylor.
Childhood and early life
Carlson was brought up in Glen Ellyn by Robert Eugene Carlson, her father being an educator. He was born in Elmhurst ([DuPage County Illinois]), close to Chicago). She is of Swedish origin and has roots in Smaland.
Career
1986-92: College and beginning of career
She was first introduced to Hollywood through her part as a background actor in the movie Lucas which starred Charlie Sheen (Corey Haim) and Winona Ryder. She then followed her elder sister Betsy, who went to Knox College in Galesburg.
